Use Memories

Page Updated: 10 Nov 2025

Let Crafty remember helpful facts (like your name or preferences) to personalize answers. You control when memory is used and can clear it anytime.

Enable memory in chat

  1. Open Crafty AI.
  2. Click the brain button next to the input to toggle Use Memories on or off for this turn.
  3. With memory on, Crafty may recall past useful details to improve the reply.

Manage memories

  1. Open Settings > Memory.
  2. Toggle Enable Memory to allow or disable memory globally.
  3. Review items in the list and delete individual entries you no longer want Crafty to remember.
  4. Click Clear All to remove every stored memory.

Tips

  • Keep memory on for routine tasks; turn it off for sensitive prompts.
  • If you change your preferred name, update it in Settings > Profile or tell Crafty and it may remember when memory is enabled.
  • File contents aren’t stored as memories; only concise, useful facts may be saved.

Troubleshooting

  • Brain button disabled? Sign in or upgrade if prompted.
  • Not seeing personalization? Ensure the brain button is on for that turn and Enable Memory is on in Settings.
  • To remove old context, clear memories from Settings > Memory.
